Mr. Chen, aged 45, has over 20 years of experience in finance and investment industries. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Chen successively served as assistant trade service manager, assistant banking services manager and project finance executive in The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC Group). From 2002 to 2011, Mr. Chen successively served as associate and vice president of the corporate finance group of the investment banking division and executive director of the Asian Special Situations Group(ASSG) in Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C.. Mr. Chen served as head of China in Permira Advisors (Asia) Limited from 2011 to 2014, served as founding partner of Fides Capital Investors I, L.P. from 2014 to 2017, served as head of direct investment in CMBC Capital Holdings Limited from 2017 to 2018, served as a partner, managing director and head of private equity investment in Ally Bridge Group from 2018 to February 2020, and served as co-president and head of investment in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of Fosun Private Equity from February 2020 to present.

Mr. Chen obtained a bachelor’s degree of arts in Finance from Fudan University in 1997, a master’s degree in Economics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2000 and a master’s degree in business administration from The Yale School of Management, major in finance and business strategy, in 2002, respectively.
