Yina focuses on investment at Saltagen Ventures, develops partnerships and works closely with founders to support their global expansion into Asia or China via Hong Kong. Building from her years of experience working with local corporates and overseas startups, she builds bridges that help startups to maneuver the strategies of entering local markets and overcome language and cultural barriers. Apart from investment and portfolio management, she also leads fund structuring and operates Checkerboard program. Being passionate to help and connect, she also mentors startups/ students at HKU and Rookie Fund.

Before joining Saltagen, she was at China Construction Bank (Asia) managing portfolio of MNC and Chinese corporates on corporate financing. She was one of the early members of Soap Cycling, a charitable startup spun off from HKU, as a marketing director and brought the impact from Hong Kong to South East Asia countries. She earned her B.B.A. (Accounting & Finance) in HKU and is currently a candidate for Master of Law (Intellectual Property Right & Information Technology) and CFA Level 3.
